Yep, the new carb is "new to me" off of a perfect running 2000 LS650. Its fuel bowl exterior is just a little different but was told by numerous others that the carbs were all the same (mine is a 97).
I am leaning towards vaccuum leak somewhere around the carb. I have a friend who used to work in a Sukuki dealership that will come over but not until Monday (almost a week away). My wife is ready for a Honda, LOL.
